This St Albans home’s cellar was damp, odorous and affecting other living spaces within the property. We were tasked with turning it into a luxury living space.
We refurbished the space, increasing the floor to ceiling height and installed a waterproofing system, mechanical ventilation and insulation that ensures the space remains dry and comfortable.
A new staircase with integrated storage was constructed, providing much improved, safe access to the cellar, whilst the addition of spot lighting and a bespoke fireplace has created a space full of light and warmth.
The client was delighted with their new living space full of charm and character, bringing to life the hidden period features of this beautiful Victorian property.
